PRESQUE ISLE, ME

Presque Isle is home to the University of Maine and the largest scale model of the solar system. Outside of the educational, there’s lots to do, with a river, lake, and state park all conveniently located in the city. It is also home to PQI, a convenient international airport. 

This facility produces high-quality decorative hardwood veneer and has one of the two rotary 10' lathes in North America. They peel birch, oak, and maple in both 50x99 and 50x123 in 1/38" and 1/42" thicknesses.
