Upward Trending Economics…Good News For Columbia Forest Products!

Great little article from the Herald and News which adds even more credence to the fact that the wood industry, with Columbia included of course, is gradually crawling out the recession that has plagued our industry in recent years. For instance, Columbia has hired about 25 full-time employees so far in the Klamath area and we are expecting demand for our products to generate more new hires in the future!  It is true that some of the demand was prompted by a U.S. tariff that raised prices on Chinese imports that competed unfairly with Columbia’s products, the overall improvement in the economy was also a factor!
